Join us for an exhilarating Blackout Poetry Workshop at the Elgin Library in Kershaw County! Unleash your creativity as we embark on a poetic journey using book pages as our canvas. Through the unique technique of "blacking out" words, participants will sculpt their own distinctive verses, uncovering profound meanings within the text. To add a personal flair, poets can embellish their final masterpiece with a choice of decoupage, drawing, or a combination of both. For our young wordsmiths aged 12 and below, an adult companion is required to assist, ensuring a fun and enriching experience for all.
