Historic Preservation: The Art of Making a Difference in South Carolina's Smaller Communities

October 2
5:00 pm
Multiple Times

Board members and the staff of Preservation South Carolina will share “real-life” examples of using historic preservation to help revitalize these communities.

About This Event

Today in many of the state’s rural communities, stylish buildings and pleasing squares remain, but the once bustling and vibrant shops, restaurants, and hotels are now empty. Where do we go from here? How do we revitalize our towns?

Board members and the staff of Preservation South Carolina will share real-life examples of using historic preservation to help revitalize these communities.

About Preservation SC

Preservation South Carolina (PSC) was formed in 1990, and is dedicated to preserving and protecting the historic and irreplaceable architectural heritage of South Carolina. PSC is South Carolina’s only statewide nonprofit preservation organization.
